Over the last 3 months as part of setting up our next project site, testing the Hamba in peri urban areas, we have established a presence in Dombashowa, Goromonzi District which is about 40 km from Harare.

Here, in partnership with the Live Stock Meat Advisory Association, and under the Zimbabwe Agricultural Productive Growth Programme’s Inclusive Poultry Value Chain Initiative we are working to increase egg production and sales so as to improve egg availability in the market by providing green mobility solutions for last and first mile transport needs.

So far 9 out of 20 tricycles that will be shared by groups of egg producers to help increase the capacity for them to produce and sell more eggs through the consolidation centre.
