A big thank you to AECF and Sida for joining the MFA team on a great trip to see our electric mobility solutions in action in Wedza on Tuesday 16th November.
We kicked off the day by visiting sister Chidemo at the Igava clinic. She told us how she is able to vaccinate and immunise more patients with the use of the hamba, resulting in vaccination rates against Covid-19 sky rocketing in the area.
We went on to speak to a group of three women who use the Hamba for their agricultural business, selling chickens and pigs. One of the ladies, Susan, showed us her beautiful kitchen. She told us how her productivity and efficiency has increased due to her access to the Hamba, allowing her to further develop and expand her property.
We finished up the day by visiting the battery swapping and charging station where we were served a wonderful locally sourced lunch before our visitors were given the opportunity to drive the Hambas.
We are very gratreful to all of our participants who made the day so memorable and to AECF and Sida for their continued support. Thank you to Gunnar Olvik, Michelle Voon, Lucinda Tyser, Victoria Chelangat Sabula, Kariuki Waweru and Christian Maguchu for making the trip to see our progress in bringing the #electricvehicle revolution to Zimbabwe!
